We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your account
- Track and display your course progress
- Improve our course content and user experience

4. Google Authentication
We use Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. When you sign in with Google, Google may collect and process data according to their own Privacy Policy. We only receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture.

- Session cookies: To keep you signed in between visits. These are necessary for the site to function.
- localStorage: To save your course progress (lesson visited, quiz answers, exercise attempts) on your device.

Your account data (name, email, profile picture) is stored securely in a Neon PostgreSQL database hosted on Microsoft Azure. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) for all data transmission.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Third-Party Services
Our website uses the following third-party services:
- Google OAuth — for authentication (Google Privacy Policy)
- Vercel — for website hosting (Vercel Privacy Policy)
- Neon — for database hosting (Neon Privacy Policy)
- Pyodide — for running Python code in your browser (runs entirely client-side, no data sent to servers)
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data upon request
